Join the Sausalito Sister Cities VIP Tour of Cascais…

Located at the mouth of the Tagus River and backed by the Natural Park of Sintra-Cascais, Cascais and Sausalito have had a Sister City Relationship since 2015.

The tour is for 4 nights and 4 days starting July 15, 2026.  We will start with a short walking tour of the historic museum district of Cascais, a group lunch and a meet and greet in the Cascais City Hall with representatives of the Sister City program and the local government.

Other events include a tour of the Pena Palace with lunch in Sintra; James Bond Vespers at Hotel Palacio in Estoril and lunch at he famous Cascais Food Lab visited by Joanne Weir during her 2023 Cooking Tours in Portugal.

in addition will be meeting with key people from Cascais to review and discuss some of the more progressive civic projects that they have implemented since our sister city relationship began.

Highlight of the 2026 Tour will be the Saturday Awards Banquet at Clube Navel de Cascais, including all of the youth sailors, the host families, Clube Naval flag officers and officials from the Municipality.

The Tour includes 4 nights of luxury lodging in Cascais near the Town Center, 4 group lunches and 4 group dinners. It does not include transportation to Portugal or ground transportation to and from the Lisbon airport to Cascais. Cost is $1,800 per person based on double occupancy.
