Sausalito Youth Sailing Exchange 

Established in 2015 between Cascais, Portugal and Sausalito, California, The Youth Sailing Exchange is one of the only international sailing exchange programs in the United States. In July 2015, Sausalito hosted 6 youth sailors from Cascais and in July 2016, Cascais hosted 6 youth sailors from Sausalito.  

The program continues with the Sausalito Youth Sailors going to Cascais and Clube Naval de Cascais on July 10 - July 19 2026.

Fado at The Pines is the primary fund raising event for the Youth Sailing Exchange.
